| Is the Pole permanent or can it be easily removed? / Is the Pole removable/collapsible? The Flirty Girl Stripper Pole is not required to be bolted to the floor or ceiling and can be installed or removed in minutes and easily stored away for future use. When the Flirty Girl Stripper Pole is not in use, the Ceiling Mount, which is bolted to the ceiling, has a special hook that will allow you use the space to hang a plant, covering the Ceiling Mount if you wish. The hook serves no function in securing the pole in place. Even when exposed, the Ceiling Mount is white in colour so will camouflage well with your ceiling. Back to Top |

| What ceiling height does the Pole allow for? The Flirty Girl Stripper Pole accommodates ceilings from 7' 11" to 10 feet. This range accommodates the vast majority of ceilings. If your ceilings are over 8'5", you will require an extender kit which is available for a nominal charge. If you are unsure about your ceiling height or desired installation location, we recommend that you always purchase the extenders. The extenders are handy to have should you move or decide to use your Flirty Girl Stripper Pole in an alternate location. Extender options are available after you check out. Back to Top |

| Where do you recommend installing the Pole? / How much floor space is recommended around the Pole? You should have 4-5 feet of unobstructed space to safely use the Flirty Girl Stripper Pole. Individual heights will factor in, so please put it somewhere that you can comfortably manoeuver. Please do not install near a window, balcony or other breakables. Back to Top |

| Do I require a special ceiling type to mount and install the Pole? Our ceiling mount can be installed into any standard drywall, gyprock or stucco ceiling. If you have solid cement ceilings you will need to purchase a special cement screw to properly bolt the Ceiling Mount (please refer to "Can I mount the pole to a concrete ceiling?" for more detail). | How do I locate a ceiling joist? Please refer to your instruction guide or our online installation guide before attempting to install the pole. If you are not comfortable installing the pole on your own we recommend that you call a home contractor to install it professionally. To properly locate your ceiling joists we recommend purchasing or borrowing a stud/joist finder to locate the ceiling joist. (Most hardware stores sell these for under $10.) Ceiling joists are approximately 1.5" wide, therefore finding the center of the floor joist is important to properly secure the Flirty Girl Stripper Pole. Use caution when installing your Flirty Girl Stripper Pole. If the gyprock appears to be cracking, stop - you are most likely not under a wooden ceiling joist. A joist will often creak when the tension is applied. If you have properly found a ceiling joist, a small amount of wood shavings will fall from the drilled hole. Once you have located the position of your ceiling joist it is a good idea to lightly mark it as it will aid in drilling the mounting screw. Back to Top |

| Can I mount the Pole to a ceiling with metal joists? Yes, but you will need to get a "toggle/ butterfly" bolt or similar to support you construction. These are the ones that pop open after they go through the ceiling. You can find this and an appropriate drill bit from your local hardware store. If you take your Ceiling Mount to your local hardware store, they will most likely be able to assist you in find the proper screw to accommodate metal joists. Back to Top |

| Can I mount the Pole to a concrete ceiling? Yes. The Flirty Girl Stripper Pole can mount to concrete. Like a ceiling joist, concrete is very strong and will support your weight. You will however require a 2.5" concrete anchor screw (or similar to support your structure) and concrete drill. If you take your Ceiling Mount to your local hardware store, they will most likely be able to assist you in finding the proper screw to accommodate concrete ceilings. If you are unable to install the Ceiling Mount on your own, or have any questions about your home set up, please contact a general contractor or the neighbourhood handyperson. | Can I mount the Pole to a dropped/suspended ceiling? Dropped/suspended ceilings are usually too weak to support the Flirty Girl Stripper Pole. The only options available to you are to either cut a hole in the ceiling locating a ceiling joist or install the Flirty Girl Stripper Pole in an alternate location with appropriate ceilings. The Ceiling Mount requires only a single screw and can easily be covered with spackle/plaster when you move or wish to remove the Flirty Girl Stripper Pole. Your Flirty Girl Stripper Pole will be shipped with a rubber floor pad with non-skid backing for use on non-carpeted flooring, including hardwood and tile. However, we do recommend learning the Beginner Pole Dance prior to attempting the Intermediate Pole Dance. There are a few spins taught in Beginner Pole Dance which will be helpful in learning the advanced spins in Intermediate Pole Dance.
